The mid-season resumption of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has been postponed again.
The league went on mid-season break last week after Matchday 19 encounters, and was scheduled to resume on April 18th, but that date is no longer feasible as the organisers of the league has postponed it by more than a week.
It would also be noted, that the original fixtures puts the resumption date for the second round at April 11th, but a week was added before the Matchday 19 matches.
In letter dated April 9th, and made available to all the 20 NPFL clubs, the League Management Company, LMC announced April 28, 2021 as new date for the second round to recommence.
The letter added that the deadline for second transfer window remains unchanged, as it will close on April 14th, 2021.
The letter was signed by the Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar.
