ABS Ilorin FC is in mourning following the passing of Chief (Mrs) Florence Morenike Saraki, the mother of the Club’s Proprietor, Senator Bukola Saraki.

The Matriarch of the Saraki family passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the age of 88.

Senator Bukola Saraki announced his mother’s passing on social media, expressing his profound sadness and submission to God’s will.

He described her as a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch who peacefully transitioned.

Florence Saraki was a pillar of strength and a guiding light in the Saraki family.

She was a devoted wife to the late Dr. Olusola Saraki and a dedicated mother to her children, including Senator Bukola Saraki.

Her unwavering support and dedication to her family were admirable, and she will be deeply missed.

The ABS FC family joins the Saraki family in mourning the loss of this remarkable woman. Our thoughts and prayers are with Senator Bukola Saraki and his family during this difficult time.
