Club Owners congratulate new kwara Pillar of sports, Prince Oladimeji

The Football Club Owners Association of Nigeria (Club Owners) have sent a congratulatory message to one of its frontline members and former Chairman of kwara United FC, Prince Oladimeji Ladi Thompson  on his emergence as the new Kwara State Pillar of Sports. 

Prince Oladimeji was on Friday decorated as the new Kwara State Pillar of Sports by the Kwara state chapter of the Sports  Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) at a special award ceremony held at Kwara Hotel Limited in Ilorin. 

Kwara SWAN said Oladimeji, who became the first indigene of Kwara state to occupy the position after late Chief A.D Okafor and the  immediate past holder of the office, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike (now Nigeria Pillar of Sports) has contributed immensely to the growth and development of sports in the state.

Club Owners Association in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Barrister Isaac Danladi  and the Executive Secretary, Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka said the honour done to the former Chairman of kwara United FC was well deserved. 

The association charged him to use his new position to add more value to sports development and youths empowerment not only in Kwara state, but across Nigeria. 

Prince Oladimeji is the Principal Partner of Henry George Nigeria Limited, Patron of kwara SWAN, Grand Patron of Beach Soccer Association as well as a renowned philanthropist.
