Double ‘T Baseball and Softball Nigeria will be presenting baseball equipment and equipment for other sports to the Kwara State Sports Council, to promote grassroots sports development in kwara state
According to the Founder/President of Double ‘T Nigeria, Hon. Abolarin Temidayo Femi, the occasion will be powered and sponsored by Special Asaiatant, Domestic Affairs to His Excellency, Governor of Kwara State, Hon. Alashi Obasanjo Olanrewaju.
Hon Alashi, who also commented on His Excellency achievement in his short term in office, said that he will continue to pray for the success of His Excellency in Office.
The SA Domestic, who is one of the Vice Chairman, Board of Trustees, Double ‘T Nigeria approved some support and grants for the organization to host the event.
Hon Abolarin however, applauded the the magnanimity of the Governor for releasing funds to ship in and clear the equipment that is worth N26million, from United State to Kwara state, to be used for the development of the sport in all the 16 Local Government Areas of the state.
Hon Abolarin said that kids and players will forever appreciate His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrasak Abdulraham for his support towards grassroots sports development.
‘Our Governor has done very well in all sectors in Kwara state, especially in the sports industry’, he said.
He further explained that the presentation will take place at Kwara State Stadium Complex, where His Excellency himself will be the Special Guest of Honour.
