The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Olutayo Football Club, Dr Joseph Adeyemo has called for an effective working system in the state sports sector in the country.

Dr Adeyemo made the call during a brief chat with newsmen in Ilorin, where he called on the government to establish a system which will accommodate flexible approaches in tackling peculiar issues.

While advising philanthropists to make the development of sports paramount on their agenda, he added that administrators on their part, should contribute positively to the smooth running of sports without prejudice.

During the session, the former Kwara State Basketball Association Chairman, while discussing about the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, admonished the inclusion of indigenous lads in the national team setup.

He said that doing so will give the Eagles a traditional identity in competitions, adding that there are players from the local scenes who are hungry to represent the national team.

The Medical Doctor who operates a community hospital established in 2002, conceded that despite his busy schedule as a medical professional, he still watches Kwara United on a regular basis,  and other sports activities at the stadium and will not decline any opportunity to give his expertise advise in sport administration when called upon.
