The ongoing 2025/26 Edu Super League is fast redefining grassroots football and youth engagement in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Organised by the Edu Football Council and sponsored by renowned community supporter, Mohammed Baba Ibrahim (MBI), Wokili Sadauki of Lafiagi, the league has become more than just a competition, it is now a movement for youth empowerment and sports development.
Since the opening match, the atmosphere across playing centres in Lafiagi, Tsaragi, Shonga and surrounding communities has been electric. The league, being played in an home and away basis, continues today with All Stars Dumagi FC hosting AFA Academy today, Sunday January 25, 2026, at Dumagi Central School Field, Dumagi, beginning from 3:00pm.
Also today, Ndamaraki UnitedFC will take on Shonga United FC at the College of Education (Technical), Lafiagi Field, by 3:00pm.
Tomorrow Monday, January 26, 2026, Tsaragi Ward 3 FC will tackle Guye Pillars FC, at Etsu Aliyu School Field, Tsaragi, while Kolobigi FC square up against Tsaragi Ward 1 FC, at Cenue- GSS Field, Lafiagi. All matches begins 3.00pm.
16 teams started the competition, and they are Ndamaraki FC, Kolobigi FC, AFA, Tsadza Babes FC, Indomie Stars FC, Guye Pillars FC, Shonga United FC, Forest United Edogi FC, Tsaragi Ward 3 FC, Sugar Stars FC Bacita, Tsaragi Ward 1 FC, Santy FC Sanchitagi, All Stars FC Dumagi, Esun United FC, Guye Pillars FC and Ndeji FC.
