The State Football Association today handed over First Aid kits and other medical equipment to it’s Medical Committee to access, with view to ensure maximum compliance with all rules and regulations guiding football activities.
Chairman of the board, Mallam Idris Abdullahi Musa in his address re-emphasized the need to practice according to the ethics of the game, stressing provision of standard medical personnel and materials are crucial in staging football activities.
Mallam Idris said that his board will work with other bodies and assured the Medical Committee of the FA, led by Dr. Joseph Adeyemo of maximum cooperation as major football league in the state and country are set to resume.
While giving their reaction during the presentation, Engr. Idris Jibril, Vice-Chairman of the Medical Committee, appreciated the FA for establishing a platform for his members and gave assurances that professionals are on board to assist the FA with their wealth of experience.
He also commended the donor of the items, Aromokeye Pharmacy for the bold initiative and called for further collaboration with hospitals, individuals and other health centres.
