The Kwara State All Stars Football Family, composed of former footballers who played in various clubs, both home and abroad yesterday, Saturday September 23rd, 2023, presented a gift to Bayour Issah on his birthday celebration.

The ex-players who are now professionals in various fields described ace sportscaster, Bayour Issah as an embodiment of humility and a great technocrat in promoting sports, particularly football.

The well attended ceremony witnessed goodwill messages from the members of the All Stars family, with different eulogies on the pasonality of the Dean of the Sports Faculty who was close to tears appreciating members of the All Stars for putting together a fantastic reception for him.

The widely travelled sports journalist commended the Executives of All Stars for spending huge amount of money for the never to be forgotten grand reception held at the Kwara Football Academy playing field.

Bayour Issah promised to continue to support the Kwara All Stars Football outfit anywhere as their ambassador in the propagation of their aims and objectives to bring ex-footballers together.

In his address, the first Vice President of All Stars football family in Kwara State, Alhaji Hameed Idris SMO, who represented the President, Alhaji Ibrahim Adegoke who is currently in Kano on assignment praised the courage of Bayour Issah over the years in promoting sports at the grassroots, the national and international levels.

He also thanked Kwara Sports Writers Association ofNigeria (SWAN), Kwara Sports Ambassadors, Taiwo Awoniyi for the car gift and reminded other Kwara-born international players to emulate Taiwo Awoniyi for showing gestures to the people of Kwara State.

Kwara State All Stars is the current champion in the last North Central competition. SMO appreciates members for their support and contribution towards the association.

He praised the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, for creating an enabling environment for sports development in Kwara State.
