Kwara state to host 2021 Public Service Game

Kwara State is to host this year’s federation of Public Service Games.

Over 10,000 Public Servants are to converge at the Ilorin Township Stadium for the week-long sporting fiesta.

This was made known by the President of the Federation, Comrade Aloku Amaebi when he paid a courtesy call on the State Head of Service, Mrs. Susan Modupe Oluwole.

He explained that Kwara State was given the hosting right because of its noticeable peaceful environment and its fore-front role in the promotion of Sports.

The Federation President disclosed that participants who would be coming from all States of the Federation would be competing for laurels in over 10 different games.

He added that the State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq would declare the game open while the Head of Civil Service of the Federation would also be in attendance amongst other important dignitaries.

He therefore solicited for the support and backing of the State government to ensure a successful hosting of the event.

The Head of Service in her remark applauded the federation for choosing Kwara State for the competition.

She reiterated the commitment of the State Government to the promotion of sporting activities amongst its citizens, particularly Public Servants as it enhances their mental alertness and also boosts their efficiency.

Mrs. Oluwole assured that all would be done to ensure a memorable event.

Meanwhile, the HoS has inaugurated the Committee Chaired by the Permanent Secretary (Establishment & Training), Alhaji Shuaib Boni Aliyu to ensure a successful organization of the fiesta.
