NALCOMA mourns Alhaji Dodo Isah, Jigawa Golden Stars Board Member

The National League Club Owners and Managers Association (NALCOMA) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Dodo Isah, former Team Manager and serving Board Member of Jigawa Golden Stars Football Club.

Alhaji Dodo Isah passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, following a brief illness.

In a condolence message signed by the President of NALCOMA, Godwin Enakhena, the association described the deceased as a committed football administrator whose years of service to Jigawa Golden Stars FC and the Nigerian football community left an enduring mark.

Enakhena said Alhaji Dodo Isah’s transition was a painful loss, not only to his immediate family and Jigawa Golden Stars FC, but also to the wider football family, particularly those who worked closely with him during his years of dedicated service.

“Alhaji Dodo Isah was a committed servant of football who gave his time, experience and energy to the development of Jigawa Golden Stars Football Club. His contributions as Team Manager and, subsequently, as a Board Member will not be forgotten.

“His passing is a painful reminder of the fragility of life. On behalf of NALCOMA, I extend our deepest condolences to his family, the management and players of Jigawa Golden Stars FC, and the entire football community in Jigawa State and beyond.”

The NALCOMA President prayed to God to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him eternal rest.

He also prayed that God grants the family, friends, colleagues and associates of Alhaji Dodo Isah the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The funeral prayer is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. in Hadejia, Jigawa State, his hometown.
