The organizers of the AIEDU Inter-LGA Peace and Unity Football Tournament (AIPUFT 2026) are pleased to officially announce the commencement of registration for the 2026 edition of the tournament.

AIPUFT 2026 is a grassroots football competition designed to promote peace, unity, and youth development through sports. The tournament will feature 16 teams drawn from six Local Government Areas in Kwara State.

The Local Government Areas are Edu, Patigi, Moro, Ifelodun, Baruten and Kaiama.

The competition aims to positively engage youths, foster inter-community harmony, and provide a platform for talent discovery and football development across Kwara North and beyond.

In addition to exciting competitive matches, AIPUFT 2026 will offer attractive prize incentives, individual awards including Golden Boot, Golden Glove, and Man of the Match, as well as opportunities for outstanding players to gain greater exposure and career advancement

Registration holds between Friday January 9fh, and Tuesday January 20th, 2026, with matches scheduled to hold in Share and Tsaragi.

The competition will run from February 1st to 14th, 2026.
