The Chairman of the Kwara State Football Association, Malam Idris Abdullahi Musa has cherished the exemplary leadership of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, for his persistent support to the uplift of football in the state.
A statement made available through the FA Media Department commended the Governor for supporting Mallam Idris financially and morally, ahead of the NFF Elections.
The FA also commended the Executive Chairman of the State Sports Commission, Coach Bola Mogaji for his support.
The Governor approved financial support to Mallam Idris, popularly known as ‘Thuraya’, in his bid to contest for a seat on the Board of the NFF at the next Elective Congress of the body in Edo state.
It further acknowledged the important roles being played by stakeholders in the football fraternity over the years, while soliciting for continuous cooperation and prayers.
Thuraya, who became the first democratically elected FA Boss in Kwara on June 13th, 2019, asserted to give good representation to Kwara if elected as the North Central representative on the board of the NFF.
