The League Management Company LMC has rescheduled three Matchday 7 Fixtures of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL slated for this weekend.
In a letter sent to all the six clubs affected by the adjustment in the fixtures, LMC did not state why the changes were affected.
The affected matches are Plateau United Vs Nasarawa United moved from Sunday 31st to Friday 29th.
Akwa United vs Kano Pillars moved from Sunday 31st to Saturday 30th.
As well as Dakkada Int’l FC vs Abia Warriors moved from Sunday 7th February to Saturday 6th February.
The letter while apologising to the clubs for inconveniences the adjustment would cause them, however directed them to ensure that all logistics for the matches at the designated venues are made available.
Nasarawa United who currently tops the league table after Matchday 6 with 14 points have remained unbeaten.
However, their fine form will come under severe scrutiny when they gave champions Plateau United in Jos.
Meanwhile, in the results of the NPFL Matchday 6 played on Monday, Enyimba FC defeated Adamawa United 2 – 1 in Bauchi while Wikki Tourists defeated Jigawa Golden Stars 2 -0.
