All is set for the 6th edition of Kwara State First Lady Inter-Local Government U-14 Male and Female Table Tennis Championship tagged “Mummy Olufolake Catch Them Young, Kwara South, Offa, 2025”.
The championship is slated to hold from Tuesday August 26th to Thursday August 28th, 2025, at the Ludlow Hall, Offa Grammar school, Offa.
In a release signed by the Chief Coordinator, Prince Dare Omowumi Adebayo of Grassroot Sports Association, he urged all the Local Government representatives to arrive for the event on the 26th of August by 8am for registration and accreditation.
Prince Omowumi, who is also the Managing Director of Adebay Sports International, expressed his gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for providing enabling environment for sports to strive and also appreciated Her Excellecy, Ambassador, Professor (Mrs.) Olufolake AbdulRazaq, the First Lady of Kwara State, for the approval to stage the 6th edition in her honour.
Over 100 players and officials are expected to fight for honours at the colourful event, which will feature both male and female players.
He disclosed that special awards will be presented to personalities at the closing ceremony.
It would be recalled that the competition has produced national and international players in the past, in the light of Sukurat Aiyelabegan and host of others.
