Hon. Barrister Salihu Bamidele Aluko, a respected legal practitioner, sports administrator and educationist, has every reason to celebrate following the successful Call to Bar of his son, Mohammed Temitope Bamidele Aluko.
Mohammed Temitope Bamidele Aluko, the youngest child of the former Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Council, was officially called to the Nigerian Bar on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the prestigious Body of Benchers Complex in Abuja.
The former elected member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Bamidele Aluko is currently a member of the Governing Board of David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences, Uburu, Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
The colourful ceremony formed part of the 2026 Call to Bar exercises organised by the Nigerian Law School and the Body of Benchers, with more than 6, 000 successful candidates admitted into the legal profession during the week-long programme.
While Mohammed Aluko was among those called on Tuesday, other successful candidates are being admitted in batches on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
For Barrister Salihu Bamidele Aluko, the occasion represents not only a family celebration but also the continuation of a proud legal tradition.
A distinguished lawyer, Barrister Bamidele Aluko has built a reputation for excellence in both legal practice, sports, education and public service.
