The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter, will tomorrow Wednesday September 16, 2026, host the latest edition of its Hard Talk Series, featuring former Federal Lawmaker, Hon.Zakari Mohammed.

Hon. Zakari Mohammed is the African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 elections in Kwara State.

The engagement is scheduled for 4:00 pm. at the Taiwo Awoniyi Sports Media Centre in Ilorin.

Hon. Zakari Muhammed, a public administrator of note and former member of the National Assembly, has also served as Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Kwara State and Administrator of Kwara United Football Club.

His appearance on the Hard Talk Series is expected to provide an opportunity for sports media professionals to engage him on a wide range of issues bordering on sports development, administration, youth development and the broader sporting landscape in Kwara State.

The session is part of the Kwara SWAN Hard Talk Series, an initiative of the association under the leadership of its Chairman, Mallam Ayodeji Ismail, designed to bring prominent personalities and critical stakeholders in sports and public life before the media for meaningful and thought-provoking conversations.
