Abraysports Football Club has celebrated the signing of its first Captain, Omolaoye Abiodun by Premier League campaigners in the state, Kwara United Football Club.
Omolaoye was the first Captain of Abraysports FC. He featured for Kogi United and Gateway FC before joining Kwara United Football Club for.the forthcoming 2023/2024 NPFL season.
Omolaoye, a midfielder, signed a two-year deal with the Harmony Boys ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) 2023/2024 league season.
Kwara United Football Club engaged 19 new players, one of which was Omolaoye Abiodun.
In his reactions to the consideration by Kwara United Football Club, Omolaoye said that he is ready to align with the philosophies of the club, and equally ready to help fight for honours in the 2023-2024 season.
“My ambition is to play for kwara United and gain a slot in the continent,
and to be the best player, ever. I also aim to play in the continental competition, and to be the best for the club and nation.
Kwara United will kick-off its campaign in the 2023-2024 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season with a crucial encounter against Katsina United Football Club in Katsina, before hosting Abia Warriors in the very first home match in Ilorin.
Omolaoye is a versatile midfielder and team player.
