The Transaction Implementation Committee (TIC) Chairman of Isin Local Government Area, Hon. (Engr) Tunde Fadipe has been praised for his all-round performances, which cuts across all sectors, including sports.
Isin Local Government Football Council Chairman, Dr. Isaac Oloruntoba, while thanking him for empowering the youth through sports also commended him for supporting the Football Council in realising its objectives through grassroots development.
“Isin Local Government football team participated in the ongoing U-15 Governor’s Cup football tournament among all the 16 Local Government Areas, with the support of the Chairman”, Dr Oloruntoba said.
“On behalf of the Football Council and sports stakeholders in Isin Local Government Area, we want to thank the TIC Chairman, Engr Tunde Fadipe for giving the youth the opportunity to exhibit their talents in sports.
“This was in addition to the numerous contributions to sports development in the area, which includes, but not limited to the support towards the hosting of the Primary and Secondary School table tennis tournaments in the Local Government, as well as.the sponsorship of a team for the recently concluded First Lady U-14 Inter-Local Government table tennis competition in Bode Saadu.
“It would.also be recalled, that we received tremendous support from the Local Government during the inauguration of Isin Local Government Football Council earlier in the year, among other sports development efforts.
“Its also on record that Hon (Engr) Fadipe, who won the Best Chairman in Kwara South, second runners up Best Chairman in Quality Primarily Healthcare Delivery in Kwara State for 2023, received commendations from the State Government on developmental projects he has been able to execute since assumption of Office.
Among the projects, according to Hon. Oloruntoba are construction of twin flats residence for Medical Doctors, Construction of Health Centre at Adigun, Construction of Central Medical Laboratory at Oke-Onigbin, Construction of Workshop for Department of Works at the Council Secretariat, Drilling of eight Motorised Boreholes with Tanks at different locations among others.
