The Administrator of the Academy Mallam Ibrahim Bako has assured Kwarans that the state team to the forthcoming Ramat Cup International in Kano state will not disappoint at the biggest youth football tournament in Nigeria.
He stated this while receiving the officials of Excel All-Stars who donated a set of match jerseys to the Kwara Football Academy (KFA) U-16 team taking part at the Ramat Cup.
Mallam Bako stated that the team has been slugging it out in training in the last four weeks, preparing for the tournament and everything is set for the team to do well in Kano.
Responding on behalf of the visiting Excel All-Stars team, Mr. Lukman Shehu thanked the Administrator of the Academy for accommodating the All-Stars over the years, to train at the Academy.
While presenting the set of jerseys, Mr. Shehu, in the company of the All-Stars Vice President, Mr Michael Aturu, Captain Mr. Taofeek Owolewa and Mr. Shogo Shodunnke stated that the group is ready to support the Academy in its future programmes..
He added that the group is made up of professionals who are willing to offer professional services as corporate support services to the Academy.
The 39th edition of the Ramat Cup will kick off in the ancient city of Kano this weekend, with Kwara Football Academy aiming to defend the tittle they won last year.
