KSA started as a swimmer in the 70s, from where he joined weightlifting in 1982. He represented Kwara and Nigeria in various competitions, before later became a wrestler.

The well attended ceremony featured prayers by the members of Kwara United Fans Club, led by its former Chairman, Toyin Oniye, who wished the celebrant a long and prosperous life.
