Gesinde Fregene appointed Vice Chairman, Kwara YSFON

The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON), Kwara State branch, has appointed Alhaji Gesinde Adedeji Amosa Fregene as its new Vice Chairman.

His appointment was announced in a statement signed by the State Chairman, Prince Ademola Kiyesola, and released through the association’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Yusuf Feruke, following a recent Executive meeting held in Ilorin.

Alhaji Gesinde Fregene has been a dedicated member of YSFON since its inception in Kwara State.

His passion for sports dates back to his playing days as a goalkeeper with Junior Kwara Water FC, Hamburg FC of Fagba and Highlanders football clubs of Ilorin. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to sports development, serving as the Public Relations Officer of Ilorin East YSFON for many years.

A seasoned sports journalist and administrator, Gesinde Fregene brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

His background as a retired Permanent Secretary in the Kwara State Civil Service will further enhances his leadership capabilities. His appointment is expected to strengthen YSFON’s mission of fostering grassroots sports development and nurturing young talents across the state.

With his deep-rooted commitment to youth sports and extensive administrative expertise, stakeholders believe his tenure as Vice Chairman will usher in a new era of progress for YSFON in Kwara State.
