Kwara State Football Association has congratulated Barrister Abdulhakeem Uthman Mustapha SAN on his recent appointment as Pro-Chancellor/Chairman of the Federal University of Education, Kano state, by President Bola AhmedTinubu.
The Kwara-born legal luminary, who was former Chairman, Appeals Committee of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), excels in the legal profession, and general admistration.
In a congratulatory letter signed by the Kwara FA Chairman, Mallam Idris Abdullahi Musa, the FA believed he will bring his wealth of experience and sterling leadership qualities to bear in the new task.
He added that the FA, on behalf of football fraternity in the state will continue to identify with Barrister Mustapha for supporting the game and its development with his sterling contributions.
Barrister Mustapha, it would be recalled, furnished the Kwara FA Secretariat, which was named after his father, the Wali of Ilorin, Alhaji Uthman Mustapha, who was the pioneer Chairman of Kwara FA.
It would also be recalled the he facilitated the re-grassing of the pitch of the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex with natural grass, asides supporting the youth in the game through a grassroots football club.
Kwara FA prayed Almighty Allah to grant him more wisdom and knowledge, with which to carry out the task successfully.
