Kwara State Football Association has congratulated its Chairman, Alhaji Idris Abdullahi Musa Thuraya, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a visionary leader and a dependable pillar of football development in the state.

In a message signed by the Vice Chairman, Bashorun Kayode Bankole, on behalf of the Board members and staffers of the association, they extolled Thuraya’s passion for grassroots football and his unwavering commitment to repositioning the round leather game in Kwara State.

He noted that under the Chairman’s leadership, the Kwara FA has continued to record steady growth in administration, competitions, and youth engagement.

“Today, we celebrate not just your birthday, but a life dedicated to service, integrity and progress. Your humility, wisdom and inclusive leadership style have earned you respect across the football family and beyond,” the message read in part.

They further praised Thuraya for fostering unity among stakeholders and for creating an enabling environment for young talents to thrive, stressing that his efforts have helped restore confidence in football administration in the state.

They prayed for continued good health, long life and more fruitful years of service for the Kwara FA Chairman, adding that the entire football community in Kwara remains grateful for his leadership and guidance.
