Officials of Kwara Ladies Football Club have renewed their bid to have the delegates’ right for the female football community awarded to the club, especially ahead of the forthcoming bye elections.

In a letter to Kwara FA, and signed by the Chairman of the club, Mallam Mohammed Jimoh Daudu, said that the appeal became imperative following the club’s promotion to the Second Division of the Nigeria Female Pro-League.

Kwara Ladies Football Club qualified for the Second Division after the play-off in Benin, Edo state

It would be recalled that the delegates’ right was awarded to Erin-Ile based club, Moje Queens Football Club, before the last Kwara Football Association elections last year.

The letter further clarified that Moje Queen are no longer in the league following their failure to secure qualification in the play-off in Edo state.

Kwara Ladies Football Club is, according to the officials, the most senior female team in the state presently, and should be given that opportunity in the interest of fair play.
