Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter has congratulated Prince Oladimeji Ladi Thompson on his birthday anniversary.
The sports writing body equally congratulated Prince Ademola Ibrahim Kiyesola on his birthday anniversary. Prince Kiyesola is the Chairman of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (Kwara State Chapter) and former Secretary of Kwara United Football Club.
Prince Oladimeji is the Kwara State Pillar of Sports, former Chairman Kwara United Football Club and a sports philanthropist.
In a statement signed by Toyin Saheed, Vice Chairman Kwara SWAN, Prince Oladimeji’s commitment to grassroots sports development and charity has endeared him to many sports stakeholders within and outside the country, a trait that the Kwara SWAN wants others to emulate.
“As the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria celebrates you on your birthday, I want to highlight the trait that has marked you out for special recognition among your peers.
“It is your commitment to the grassroots and your large heartedness in giving back to the sports community through your various charity outreaches. Please keep it up,” the SWAN said.
Also in a statement by SWAN, they praised Prince QKiyesola’s remarkable achievements in the development of grassroots football and extended best wishes for his future endeavours.
“The Kwara State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) joins your family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate your birthday,” Saheed said.
“As a seasoned sports administrator, investor, and promoter, your contributions to the development of football in Kwara State are highly commendable. You have produced remarkable players as Chairman of YSFON that represented Nigeria at underage International Football Tournaments.
“Your dedication to nurturing young talents through YSFON in Kwara State is a testament to your passion for the game.
“Your leadership as Chairman YSFON reflects your exceptional professional skills and expertise. We pray that this new chapter in your life brings you continued success, good health, and fulfilment,” the statement concluded.
