The stage is set for the maiden Media Advancement Seminar for Football Coaches organised by the Kwara State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).

The event is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the Taiwo Awoniyi Sports Media Centre, George Agbazika Innih Stadium Complex, Ilorin, with activities expected to commence by 10:00am.

According to a statement jointly signed by Kwara SWAN Chairman, Ayodeji Ismail, and Secretary, Yemi Sodiq, Coach Aliyu Zubair of Telecom FC, Egypt, High Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka, and Mr. Kazeem Ibrahim are expected to serve as resource persons for the seminar.

The event will also feature a brief opening ceremony involving key stakeholders before the commencement of the various sessions.

The statement further urged members of the association and all participants to be seated by 9:30am to ensure a prompt start to proceedings.
