Kumbi Titiloye charges Kwara United ahead Cavaliers FC clash tomorrow

Kwara United FC Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye has charged players to allow professionalism reflect in their attitude and display, throughout their stay in Benin Republic.

While addressing the players this evening, August 18th, 2023, during their pre-match training at the Stade OmniSports de Nikki, Titiloye said that they should be business-like in the three matches, as its more or less unlike a friendly game.

“Every second and every minute of the games matters to you, to the team, and to Nigeria as a whole, and that’s why you need all the seriousness it deserves, to make the difference in the matches, beginning with the game against Cavaliers FC tomorrow.

Kwara United arrived in Nikki, Benin Republic this afternoon, and are scheduled to play three friendly matches, two against Cavaliers FC and one against Buffles FC of Parakou, in Parakou.

Titiloye said that the camping and friendly matches will go a long way in assisting the team in its preparations for the 2023-2024 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The camping and training tour was arranged by Adfolis Sports Limited, and the outfit has said that all arrangements and logistics have been put in place to ensure hitch-free engagements.

Both Cavalier FC and Buffles are Benin Republic Premier League teams, also called Championnat National du Bénin in French, and which is the highest football division in Benin. Cavaliers FC is a Nikki based club, while Buffles FC is based in Parakou.

Meanwhile, the Kwara United’s tour of Benin Republic has generated great attention in both Kwara North and Benin Republic, with the pre-match training today drawing huge crowd.

There are feelers also, that the Emir of Okuta and Chairman of Baruten Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji (Hon) Dr. Idris Abubakar (Kperogi Afon Totiri) will lead the delegation from Kwara North, to watch the matches in both Nikki and Parakou.
