The Chairman of Kwara United Football Club, Clement Olakumbi Titiloye has declared his total support for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s second term ambition.
At a prayer session he organised for the success of Governor AbdulRazaq at the polls in his home town, Oro, in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State on Friday, November 4, 2022, the astute Administrator revealed the reason behind his total commitment to the cause.
“I have worked with different governments but never for once have I come out to campaign for any politician. But because of the love that the Governor has for Kwarans, I chose to love this man”.
“Humanity comes first and that has made me come out to officially declare my total support to the second term bid of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Titiloye averred”.
“I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to serve under his administration, and I believe Kwarans are yet to see the real Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq”.
“He has done wonderfullywell, and what he will offer us in his second term will be better than what we could ever imagine. And our prayers will never cease until we all achieve the aim of moving Kwara State to the next level, the Football Administrator concluded”.
The prayer session was observed at Lakele Square in Oro, with prayers from the Chief Imam of Oro, Alhaji Mikail Onisan and Pastor Oluwole Timothy of Christ Apostolic Church No. 2, Oro.
The Chief Imam of Oro, Alhaji Mikail Onisan in his remarks, revealed that with all the things Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq had done for the great Oro people, it is only one that does not want well for the people of Oro that will vote against him come 2023.
”One of the major strides of AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is the refurbishing of our General Hospital”.
Pastor Oluwole Timothy in his prayers said it was a welcomed development for one to pray for their leaders as it is written in the book of Psalms 33 vs 10.
The man of God made some declaration as he prayed for Kwara state and the the country at large.
Otunba Bode Oyedepo (The Way), the Board Chairman of The Herald Newspaper, Alhaji Tunde Aluko, Mallam Rahman Giwa, the Vice Chairman, Irepodun TIC, Hon. Folashade Mujidat, a Ward Leader, Alhaji Waheed Sanusi and the representative of Oro Ward 1 and 2, Oloyede Abimbola Sunday commended Titiloye for the initiative, even as they pledged their total support to the cause.
The Chief Asanlu of Oro, Chief (Dr) Simeon Kayode Olayioye, who spoke on behalf of the community charged Titiloye to facilitate the construction of a mini stadium in Oro Community, to encourage participation in sporting activities.
While also praising Titiloye for the bold step ahead of the 2023 General Elections, the TIC Chairman of Irepodun Local Government, Comrade Jide Adegboyega Oyinloye said that the gesture will boost support for the Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) in general.
He said that the community has no choice than to support Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who has made the presence of governance felt in virtually all the communities in the Local Government.
