Kwara United Football Club has comiserated with the family of late Coach Ganiyu Mustapha, on the demise of the former football star who departed this sinful world early this morning, July 31, 2023.
Late Ganiyu Mustapha, popularity known as Brimo, has since been commited to mother earth in accordance with Islam rights at the Muslim cemetery in Ilorin.
Brimo became famous when he played for the defunct Benue Cement Company (BCC) Lions and Kwara United Football Club. He also served in the technical department of Kwara United, until his demise.
The highly disciplined late Coach succumbed to a protracted illness which rendered him incapacitated for a while.
In a message by Kwara United Media Team, the Executive Chairman of the club, Kumbi Titiloye prayed Allah to grant him Aljannat Fridaos, and to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
He said late Brimo was an experienced and intelligent players and coach, who was always ready to serve and contribute his experience to the development of the round leather game in the state.
He also described the late Coach as a disciplined and respected personality, whose attitude is worrhy of emulation, especially by upcoming players and coaches.
