Kwara United Football Club has congratulated the Executive Governor of the state, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on his successful inauguration today, as he begins his second term journey.
The club, in a release by the Media Team and signed by the Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye equally congratulated the Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi, describing him as a loyal lieutenant.
The Governor and his Deputy today stepped back into office in a simple and modest but colourful ceremony, as they took oaths for second term in office as the Executive Governor and Deputy Governor of Kwara State respectively.
The inauguration today signals the beginning of another four years of what Kumbi Titiloye described as “quality stewardship in the State of Harmony”
“We celebrate this moment with our Number One Supporter, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and his Deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi, even as we wish you a smooth sail through yet another four years mandate which was overwhelmingly given by Kwarans back in February.
“It’s our belief, Your Excellency, that the next four years will consolidate the gains of your first tenure and lay the foundations for sustained socio-economic development and institutional growth, as you have said.
“It’s also our belief that you will sustain investment on the development of youth through sports, with the contineous renovation and construction of sports infrastructure and encouragement for sports participation, and especially, the unalloyed support for our darling team will not cease.
“On behalf of all of us at Kwara United Football Club, we congratulate you for the grounds you have already broken, the one you are on the verge of breaking and the ones yet to be broken, as you lead Kwara to the next level.
