Alade Peter Denise, an international football Manager today commended the Kwara State government, under the leadership of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for repositioning sports, and for supporting Kwara United FC in particularly to achieve the dream of winning a continental ticket.
Peter, who stated this in Ilorin during a courtesy call to the Deputy Gorvenor of the state, Mr. Kayode Alabi, said that he is impressed with the government, especially for bringing the darling team back to the Premier League, and appointing a seasoned professional in Kumbi Titiloye, to manage it.
He assured the Deputy Gorvenor that Kwara United FC will win laurels for the state because if the moral and financial support being extended to the team.
The Deputy Gorvenor commended the football Manager, and assured him that the state-owned team will make Kwarans proud.
Peter, who played active football with First Bank FC of Lagos and professional football in Greece before becoming a Manager, brought a Brazilian player, Lucas Alves Rebeiro to Kwara United FC ahead of the new season.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian player, Lucas Rebeiro Alves today visited Sportspro News Office in Ilorin.
Lucas, who was received by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Publisher of Sportspro news, Bayour Issah and his crew relished his experience since he joined kwara United FC, and expressed optimism at contributing significantly to the sucess of the club in the new season.
The ace Sportscaster, Bayour Issah described the 25-year-old as highly intelligent, swift, adaptive and good ball user, adding that his technical and tactical approach to the game will add value to the team and make huge difference.
He expressed belief that the Brazilian, who is also a free-kick specialist, will meet the expectations of the football loving Kwarans.
Bayour Issah also lauded the management board of Kwara United FC for attracting best legs to the team in a bid to regain its competitive edge and also secure continental ticket.
Lucas Alves is one of the new recruits of the Harmony Boys, alongside many other experienced players, among whom are the former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba, Jide Fatokun, Afeez Nosiru and a host of others.
