As part of plans to prepare the football stakeholders in the state for the new league season, Kwara State Football Association, KWFA, is set to host a seminar where soccer administrators, players, referees and journalists would be briefed on the new arrangement that will guide the league.
Speaking on this, Hon. Idris Musa Abdullahi, aka Thuraya, the KWFA chairman, said that the Nigerian Premier Football League, NPFL, in its bid to elevate the top tier league has put strong machineries in place to ensure that the rules are followed.
“NPFL and Mall Ibrahim Gusau, the NFF president have told all FA chairmen that the 2024/25 league season is going to be different especially in the enforcement of the general rules of league football,” he said.
The seminar is scheduled to be held at the Alhaji Usman Mustapha Football House, Kwara State Stadium, on 7, September 20204 at 4 PM.
According to the arrangement by the FA, the seminar will explain details about gate management, medicals, laws of the game, technical areas, reserve bench and other areas pertinent to the league.
Expected to attend the seminar are Kwara United management members, technical crew, back room staff, supporters and fans club.
