Two Kwara United Football Club fixtures in the ongoing 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) have been rescheduled.

The matches are the outstanding Matchday 18 encounter against Heartland Football Club of Owerri at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, and the Matchday 19 encounter against Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure, at the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin.

The Matchday 19 this weekend in Ilorin has been brought forward from Sunday January 21, 2024 to Saturday January 20, 2024, in Ilorin.

And the outstanding match with Heartland FC, which was earlier fixed for Saturday January 14, 2024, has been rescheduled for Thursday January 25, 2024, in Owerri.

The Heartland FC match was shifted from the original date because of the second term inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodinma, which took place at the venue on Monday January 15, 2024.

Also rescheduled was the encounter between Rangers International and Rivers United, which was earlier fixed for December 3, 2023, and now fixed for Wednesday January 24, 2024, in Enugu.

The letter re-arranging the fixtures, dated January 16, 2024, and signed by Davidson Owumi, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the NPFL charged the clubs to accord the technical team maximum cooperation, and to ensure necessary logistics are put in place for hitch-free games.
