NYG 2023: El-Lado tasks Kwara athletes as National Youth Games begins


The Chief Executive (CEO) of El-Lado Transport Limited, Baba Adinni of Delta State, and a sports enthusiast, Mallam Tunji Mohammed has urged Kwara contingents to make Kwarans proud at the 7th National Youth Games taking place in Asaba.

Screening of athletes started earlier on Friday 22nd, September 2023 at the Indoor Sports Hall, Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, with para table tennis, tennis and weightlifting, the event proper will commence same day, as announced by the LOC.

The CEO of El-Lado Transport Limited commended the Executive Governor of Kwara State Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his role in sports development.

He saluted the giant stride of the Executive Chairman of Kwara State Sports Commission, led by Coach Bola Magaji for bringing out the best in the contingents to represent Kwara State.

Kwara State ended in 7th position at the last National Youth Games hosted in 2021 in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Mallam Olatunji received Kwara contingents and officials on their arrival in Asaba late Wednesday night, as he encouraged the athletes to be good ambassador of Kwara State.

The opening ceremony of the 7th National Youth Games is slated for tomorrow, Saturday 23rd of September 2023.
