The final of the maiden edition of Offa Honorable’s Cup football competition has been scheduled to hold Saturday December 5th, at the Oloffa Stadium, Offa, beginning from 3.00pm.
32 youth clubs from Offa, Ilorin, Ibadan and Osogbo participatd in the competition which was introduced by Hon. Yusuf Gbenga Abdulwaheed, member representing Eesa/Sgawo/Igboidun constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly.
In a statement issued by the Media Office of Hon Gbenga, the final will be between Taofolad FC from Ibadan and Michu boys of Offa.
Taofolad FC of Ibadan reached the final after defeating Olaiya boys of Offa by 2-0.
Michu FA had earlier beaten Antlers FC of Ilorin on penalties, after a one-all draw.
The tournament, which started on Friday October 24, 2020 will attract a cash prize #150, 000 for the winner, while the first and second runners’ up will receive #100, 000 and #75, 000 respectfully.
The tournament is being organized by Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) Offa Chapter.
