Okoromi David: I am ready for Niger Tornadoes’ challenge

The Highest Goal scorer at the Ogunjobi Gold Cup and Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club striker, Okoromi David has said that he is ready for the challenges ahead of the Nigeria National League (NNL) season in the colours of Niger Tornadoes.

The former Arsenal Kiddies player is on the verge of penning a deal with the NNL promotion hopefuls, Niger Tornadoes Football Club.

I already know the ambition of the club and the coaches, and I will want to say that I am ready to contribute my own little quota towards the achievement of the set goals’, he said on phone.

He commended the management of the team, the coaches and players, whom he said, welcomed him well on his arrival to the club.

Okoromi, who was outstanding for Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club during the recently concluded Ogunjobi Gold Cup tourney in Ilorin, has been on the books of many clubs in the Nigerian league and abroad.

His greatest assets are his menacing moves, which has been a threat to opposing defenders, and pace, which affords him the ability to play wide and deep.

The free-scoring attacker was spotted in Tornadoes’ training on Monday evening in Minna, Niger State capital.

Okoromi will obviously replace Segun Alebiosu, who left the Ikon Allah side for Lobi Stars before the end of the NPFL transfer window.
