Chairman of Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Appeal Committee, Barrister Abdulhakeem Uthman Mustapha has sent congratulatory message to former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick following his conferment as Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (OFR).
The National award was issued to Outstanding Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in various fields by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Barrister Mustapha commended Pinnick’s latest honour, saying it is a clear testament of his immeasurable contributions in the various positions he held at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Confederations of Africa Football (CAF) and the international level at FIFA.
He described Amaju as one of Africa’s most influential football administrators whose tenure as the President of the NFF brought enhanced visibility and prestige for Nigeria in the international community.
“Your conferment as an Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) by former President Muhammadu Buhari was received with great excitement, and it gives me immense pleasure to congratulate you.
