The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Cyteck Engineering Construction and Technology Limited, Engineer Ahmed Olaide has pledged to equip the Media Centre of Kwara State Stadium to create comfort for journalists covering Kwara United matches.
Engineer Olaide made the pledge following a discrete appeal by Chairman of Sports Writers Association (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter, Mallam Ayodeji Ismail to private individuals and corporate bodies to assist the job of journalists in the state on Sunday.
Chairman Kwara SWAN commended Engineer Ahmed Olaide for his laudable support to the sports writing fraternity.
He said it is a positive support which should be keyed into by the league organisers through maintenance of a conducive environment to further attract sponsors from the grassroots.
He said, the CEO Cyteck Engineering Construction and Technology Limited has been a huge supporter of SWAN since the current executive came on board.
“During the Ramadan period, Cyteck Engineering were the first private organisation to support SWAN during their courtesy visit. His contributions to grassroots football is second to none as he’s a part sponsor of the Kiddies League in Kwara State”.
“The table and chairs donated will help our members discharge their duties effectively during and after the matches. It will also be useful to our members who visit our annex office for documentation”.
Cyteck Engineering Construction and Technology Limited has been at the forefront of soccer promotion and grassroots sports development in Kwara State.
The CEO, Ahmed Olaide Abdullateef, is also behind the Man of the Match Award of Kwara United’s home games in the ongoing 2023/24 NPFL.
