The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sportspro News, Bayour Issah has said that the ‘Icon of hope: award bestowed on him was a challenge to continue to do more for sports development and promotion.
Bayour Issah received a special recognition on the heels of his immense contributions to sports development, from the Kwara State Karate Association.
The award which was tagged ‘Icon of hope award’, was presented to the veteran sportscaster by Kwara association, in recognition of his immense contributions to sports development.
According to the association, the leadership award of excellence was due to his “outstanding contributions, magnitude support to the Kwara Karate, sports development and Nation building at large”.
The seasoned sports journalist thanked the association for the honour and pledged to do more for the development of sports.
Recall that earlier in 2021, the publisher had received a ‘legendary in sports Journalism award from Symbol Magazine and the Kwara SWAN award of Excellence last year December.
