Kwara FA, Barrier Foundation congratulate Tunde Sanni on Heartland FC job

The leadership of the Kwara State Football Association has sent goodwill messages to Coach Tunde Sanni on his appointment as Head Coach of Heartland Football club of Owerri.

A release made available by Bolaji Lawal, expressed the Association’s delight for the Ilorin-born tactician who is currently the chairman, Nigeria Football coaches Association, Kwara Chapter.

The release by Lawal added that the FA board, led by Malam Idris Abdullahi Musa is solidly behind the gaffer, noting that the association is exceedingly happy and confident that his expertise and experience will assist the Owerri based club in retaining its top flight status in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Equally, members of Barrier Foundation sent their best wishes to the former Kwara United Technical Adviser, Coach Tunde Sanni on his new appointment as the Chief Coach of Heartland FC of Owerri.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Foundation, Lanre Yusuf, Coach Tunde was described as an experienced gaffer whose mastery of the game will add value to his new club.

“We want to wish Coach Tunde Sanni the best in his new appointment with Heartland FC. No doubt, we believe that his wealth of experience will help the team in achieving their short and long term goals” the statement said.

Coach Tunde Sanni joins the newly appointed Technical Adviser of the Club; Coach Erasmus Onuh at the Owerri based side in the urgent need to rescue them from going to relegation.

Barrier foundation is a Non-Governmental and charity organization established in honour and memory of late Coach A. A. Maleek, popularly known as Barrier.

Until his appointment, Coach Tunde managed Kwara United Football Club between 2011/2012 where he achieved a sixth place finish in the league, Played and captained the Ilorin based Club during his playing days.
