Kwara FA: Busari Ishola wheeled football to greater heights

Kwara State Football Association has said that late Mallam Busari Ishola supported democratic leadership, prevent and resolve conflict through mediation and promote good governance for football to thrive during his life time.

Chairman of the State Football Association, Malam Idris Abdullahi Musa made the submission on Sunday evening during another condolence visit by the FA delegation to the family.

He noted that the late FA boss whom he called a father, was known for his straightforwardness in tackling peculiar issues, adding that late Busari facilitated the tremendous developmental programmes in football, an assignment which he undertook with great responsibility and dedication.

In his submission, Vice Chairman of the FA, Hon. Bashorun Kayode Bankole said the former coach played a critical role in facilitating football independence through his administration, noting that he was a selfless man and true patriot who aimed at promoting football governance for the future generations.

The five-man delegation of the FA had the FA Chairman, Malam Idris Musa, the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Bashorun Kayode, Chairman Asa Football Council, Alhaji Adeshina Bello who said a short prayer on behalf of the FA, together with Head of Media & Publicity, Bolaji Lawal and Abdulmomoh (Photo Journalist).

Responding on behalf of the  family, Yusuf Ishola, son of the deceased commended the FA’s show of solidarity during the difficult moments, adding that they have showed their late father left a worthy legacy in football administration.
