The Leadership of the Kwara state football association has extended goodwill messages to Mallam Maliki Manzuma who been honoured as the new Dan Buran of Lafiagi by his royal highness, Alhaji Mohammed Kudu Kawu.
Chairman of the association, Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi who attended the ceremony held in Lafiagi, described Mallam Manzuma’s elevation as a good development and urged the new chief to use his experience to serve his people and bring development to his domain.
He saluted Mallam Manzuma for his courage, sense of duty, and maturity which he has shown as a board member of the state football association.
“I join everyone to celebrate the new Dan Buran of Lafiagi. We are impressed by his passion for everything that brings succour to the people and we pray that Almighty Allah Grant him long life and hope that his tenure will bring peace, development and progress to Lafiagi ,” he said.
