Kwara United will kick-off their campaign in the 2022 ValueJet Pre-Season tournament tomorrow, Friday August 26, 2022 against Lagos-based Nigeria national League (NNL), Ottasolo FC, at the Main-Bowl of the Ikenne Stadium, beginning from 3.00pm.
The Ilorin-based team were drawn in Group B alongside CAF Champions League candidate, Rivers United FC, Ottasolo FC, Gateway FC and Smart City FC.
Earlier, Gateway FC and Smart City will take the centre stage in the first match in the group, at the Main-Bowl, by 9.00am. Rivers United was drawn bye.
On Saturday, Smart City will draw bye, while the two Premier League clubs in the group, Kwara United FC and Kwara United tango by 6.00pm. Before then, by 9.00am to be exact, Ottasolo FC will tackle Gateway FC.
It will be the turn of Kwara United to draw bye on Sunday, while Gateway FC takes on Rivers United FC by 3.00pm, and Smart City against Ottasolo by 4.00pm, at Pitch A.
The Harmany Boys are expected to return to action against Gateway FC on Monday by 9.00am, while Rivers United battles Smart City by 6.00pm. Ottasolo draws bye.
The last matches in the group will hold on Tuesday, as Smart City takes on Kwara United FC by 9.00am, and Ottasolo FC against Rivers United by 6.00pm. Gateway FC will stand bye.
Plateau United FC, Remo Stars, Ijebu United, Shooting Stars Sports Club and Vandrezzer will play from Group A, with Remo Stars kicking off the competition against Ijebu United by 6.00pm.
The first two teams on each table after the group matches to proceed to the semi-final stage of the competition.
