Kwara United Football Club has congratulated one of its strong followers and supporters, Mallam Saliu Mustapha on his attainment of golden age.
Mallam Mustapha, a great philanthropist and the Kwara Central Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Party (APC) clocks 50 years today.
In a release by the Media Team, the club described the Turaki of Ilorin as a great supporter of Kwara United Football Club, haven demostrated his love for the club in several ways.
“We wish to celebrate and identify with our strong supporter and lover, as he attains the Golden age, while we prayed Almighty Allah to grant him more fruitful years on earth, in good health, wisdom and prosperity.
“Apart from making huge impacts on the development of humanity, especially through sports, and most especially through Kwara United Football Club, your sacrifices, contributions and commitments in the community and beyond, is legendary.
“The Turaki ofIlorin, your support and contributions to the team assisted our cause in ending the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season on a high, including but not limited to securing a continental ticket.
The club also commended him for sustaining his support for the team, as they campaign in the 2022/2023 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup competition.
It would be recalled that Mallam Saliu Mustapha threw the gates open in Kwara United’s last home game of last season against MFM FC, as he also motivated the players in their continental match against AS Douanes of Niger Republic.
