“With this appointment, Mr Obalola will take charge of running of the Club till a substantive board is put in by the state government.

The release charged the stakeholders to give the Acting Secretary the needed support, rally round the team, and to support government’s bid to reposition the club.

“All relevant stakeholders in the state are therefore implored to give the Acting Secretary the needed support in the  task ahead.

His appointment, according to the release,  takes immediate effect as the former Secretary, Mr Hamidu Olowo has been recalled to the Commission.
