La Planet to play Non-Leaguers in Amapro Football Championship final.

La Planet Sports Academia were the biggest winners of the day as they thrashed Jazzy Stars FA 3-0 in one of the semi-finals matches at the on-going Amapro  Football Championship.

In a game wholly dominated by La Planet, Jazzy Stars struggled to pick up their usual strength as they fell to Abdulgafar Opeyemi’s brace and Ajao Afeez’s  woodwork with no reply.

The second semi-final saw NPFL All Stars in their fight to retain the championship been held to a goalless draw in the regulation time by the Non-Leaguers.

Non-Leaguers eventually became a finalist  as they win 4-3 from the penalty shoot-out to deny NPFL All Stars a final ticket.

La Planet SA and Non-Leaguers will now be dragging it out in the final of the 5th edition of Amapro Football Championship.

The final, billed for 3.00pm today will hold at the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin.

Shogo Shodunke, the CEO of Phreestyle Sport and organiser of the championship has assured of a colourful final ceremony which will be witnessed by the creme de la creme of football fraternity.

He added that a novelty match between ‘Shogo and Friends’ and Excell All Stars will come up before the final event kicks off.
