Nmanko Beach SC departs for Kebbi as NBSL final round kicks off Friday

The Nmanko Beach Soccer Club of Patigi have departed Ilorin for Kebbi, to participate in the final phase of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League, which gets underway in Kebbi, between Friday 17th to Sunday 20th of this Month.

The contingent, which comprised of players, officials and newly elected Chairman of the Kwara Beach Soccer Board, Engr Jibril Idris departed Ilorin in the early hours of today, Wednesday Auvust 16th, 2023, at the Kwara State Stadium Complex.

Coach Lawal Oloyede, while speaking to journalists, said the team is mentally and physically ready to battle for honours, adding that there is no injury worries in the camp, and that the spirit is high in readiness for the show down.

Also speaking, the Founder of Nmanko Soccer Club, Engr Idris Jibril thanked former SA Sports, Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim and other Nmanko family for their unwavering support for the team to travel to Kebbi without financial constraints, adding that the support is unquantified.

Engr Idris also recognizes the assistance of Kwara United’s Executive Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye and Kwara Pillar of Sports, Prince Oladimeji Ladi Thompson, pledging that the club will reciprocate the gesture by winning the League.
