The stage is set for an electrifying grand finale as Kwara YSFON U-18 and Bauchi YSFON U-18 teams battle for glory in the second edition of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Boys National Peace Cup holding in Katsina State.
Last year’s runners-up, Kwara YSFON, secured their final spot after edging out the host team, Katsina in a tense penalty shootout, following a thrilling four-goal encounter.
On their part, Bauchi YSFON displayed remarkable resilience, overcoming a determined Sokoto Boys side to book their ticket to the final.
The championship decider promises to be an exciting clash between the North-Central and North-West contingents at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium at 4.00pm Nigerian time, Katsina, as both sides aim to etch their names in the history books.
Before the closing ceremony, spectators will also enjoy a thrilling third-place playoff between Sokoto and Katsina,va North-West derby that will decide the bronze medalist of the tournament.
The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu National Peace Cup, proudly sponsored by the Katsina State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, is organized by the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) in collaboration with the Katsina State Chapter.
