Promise David relishes flourishing start at Sirens FC, opens up on National Team choices

20-year-old Nigerian-Canadian, Promise David says he is relishing his bright start to life at new club, Sirens FC after completing a move from Valleta FC.

Speaking exclusively to newsmen about the difficulty of the Maltese League, the forward said “it’s a tough league with lots of physicality, but with my size, I have been able to thrive and we shall continue that this year”.

Promise said he has his eyes set on achieving success with his new team, after learning the club’s ambitions for the season with an extensive chat with the President.

“The club welcomed me with open arms. I spoke the President about what we are aiming for this season. We have a good squad and talent and I believe those goals are reachable with hard work”, the striker said.

David also said he’d jump on the chance to represent Nigeria, if given an opportunity, although Canada are also paying attention to his progress.
