Kwara United Volleyball team will today play Kada Kings of Kaduna in the epic final of the ongoing Division 1 Volleyball League in Kaduna, beginning from 7:00pm.
Kwara United yesterday defeated Kebbi Spikers three sets to two, 25-10, 23-25, 18-25, 25-21 and 15-11 to book a final show down with the hosts.
Kwara United enroute to the final, played six matches unbeaten, and will climax the competition by playing the hosts, Kada, who also maintained clean sheet.
In the female category, Kwara United Ladies will also play Zamfara Babes in the final.
Coach Wale Gbadamosi, while speaking to sports writers ahead of the final, said both male and female teams are battle ready to do the state proud by picking the ticket to the Premier league.
He thanked Bashorun Kayode Bankole, ex-national player, Mr Bola Yusuf and former player of the team, Rukky for financially supporting the team, noting that the gesture had greatly encouraged teams in their outings.
